Bio for Rihari al'Taihu

Hailing from Watch Hill Rihari was born the son of two poor farmers. His size he can attribute to his father, standing well over most men of the area. His black hair and brown eyes are nothing unusual- a gift from his mother. He always wanted to be a gleeman.The occasional visits of these mysterious guests caused him much entertainment- and he would have liked to give others such entertainment.

This however all changed when his parents' farm was attacked by raiders, in his anger he managed to channel, however the effect of having the fire in the kitchen treble in size was to almost burn down the house. The trauma involved in this was enough to cause his family to all but disown him and as such he is quite untrusting of the power that he may be able to weave, coupled with the traditional suspicions that he had been brought up with, he would be a very difficult student for even the most patient teacher. However, when it was discovered that a man capable of channeling was living in the area it slowly became all but imposible for him to avoid the Wheel's weaving, and he slowly felt himself drawn to the Tower.

He did spend a number of months traveling before reaching the tower and it was during this time that his eyes were opened to the world that he lives in and how limited his view was. It was also during this time that he met Orthur who was to become a constant companion in the taverns of any town which they passed through. Upon reaching the tower he had to bid farewell to Orthur, however they did make a pact to meet againin two years time and see some more of the world. In the timne since Rihari has not received word from Orthur and has concerns for his friends safety- it could not be that hard to get word to the Tower...
